TOP 10: The most expensive Cameras in the World
Fri, 12/07/2012 - 19:35 (updated 4 years ago)

It is a well known fact that one of our favorite hobbies for The Republika editors is Photography.   Taking pictures is an art form that has become one of the better ways of expressing our views of the world to our readers.   There is nothing more gratifying than getting to take a picture that truly says more than a thousand words for you.    Cameras are the tool that is necessary to make this happen and as technology evolves so do these fabulous machines that keep surprising us time and time again.  Just when we think we’ve seen it all, in comes a new one that totally makes others look dated.   This past year alone Canon and Nikon have given us some of the most interesting upgrades in recent years.  With the 5D Mark III, D800e, D4 and now the addition of a possible entry level Full Frame Camera the D600 we aren’t sure what the future holds for the photography business.     Phone cameras have also evolved to the point that the Point and Shoot industry is trembling in fear of being replaced.   With the newest line of ILC ‘s(Interchangeable Lens Camera) like the Nikon N1, Panasonic Lumix DMG-GH2, Sony Alpha NEX 5 and the Samsung NX100, we have a new line of machines to compare to.     There is a line of cameras that can’t be accessed by just anybody, and these are the ones we’ll list here at The Republika.  The most expensive camera’s in the world.    You may save for a Nikon D800E or a Canon 5D Mark III, or you may think the Sony Alpha NEX 5 is what you really need, even if it cost you the same as an entry level DSLR,  but getting a hold of one of these babies is something for the rich or the dedicated photographer.
